Pixton Instructions

Hello English 10HP students,

Please follow the instructions below to activate and set up your account on pixton.com.


1. Go to www.pixton.com and click “Log In” from the green section titled “Pixton for Schools.”
2. You will have to activate your account under “First Time Users.” (See picture)
3. Type in the activation key that was given to you.
4. Now select the student# assigned to you.
5. If you are the first one to log in (since you have to share accounts), you will now be prompted to make a screen name and a password. To make it simple, you should just use your student#:

Screen name: student0#
Password: student#

For example, if you were student22, then make your screen name”student022” and your password “student22.”

6. Make sure the other people sharing your account have the right information.
7. Make your comic!

Tuesday- 12.14.10- Socratic Seminar. Finish Ch. 12.
Wednesday- 12.15.10- SSR. Read Ch. 13.
Thursday- 12.16.10- Reading Check #4 Ch. 12-13. Start Ch. 14.
Friday- 12.17.10- Finish Ch. 14. Watch film The Secret Life of Bees.

Week of December 6-10

English 10 College Prep
Monday- 12.06.10- Journal #9- Write about your first crush. Reading Check for Ch. 8 The Secret Life of Bees. Start Ch. 9.
Tuesday- 12.07.10- Journal #10- Write about a fond childhood memory. Hand back Macho Response to Literature Essays and review student models. Finish Ch. 9.
Wednesday- 12.08.10- SSR
Thursday- 12.09.10- Journal #11- Write about a time of sadness. Reading Check for Ch. 9. Read Ch. 10. SAT Vocabulary Quiz #2 tomorrow.
Friday- 12.10.10- Journal #12- Write about someone (living or deceased) who means a lot to you. Read Ch. 11. Start Socratic Seminar.

Week of November 29- December 3

English 10 College Prep
Monday - 11.29.10 - Read Ch. 7 The Secret Life of Bees. Complete Epigraph sheet. Journal #7- Write about your Thanksgiving weekend or describe your first crush. Tuesday- 11.30.10 - Take Practice CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exam).
Wednesday- 12.01.10 - Journal #8- Write about the last time you were angry. SSR.Stamp: Epigraphs Ch. 1-7 and Journal #7-8.
Thursday- 12.02.10 - CAHSEE Diagnostic Test in T110.
Friday- 12.03.10 - END OF 2nd Grading Period! Read Ch. 8.
